Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars have been accused of copying Serbian singer Snezana Miskovic’s 1984 song “Ulice Mracne Nisu Za Devojke” (English: Dark Streets Are Not For Girls) for their 2014 hit single “Uptown Funk”. Miskovic, also known by her stage name Viktorija, pointed out that the song borrows heavily, almost 80 percent, from her track. She further said that she regretted the fact that people did not know that the chart-topping worldwide hit was actually plagiarized.
